Explosion at a Mall

May 20th, around 6pm, there was a breaking news story that cut annoyingly into regular programming. A shopping center called The Edge in the outlying parts of the city experienced some trouble as three escaped convicts locked themselves into a mens clothing store. Just as authorities arrived to re-arrest the three men, they set explosives in the store, the blast endangering many of Las Vegas' citizens. They attempted to escape in the chaos, but were taken in by authorities.

Mayor Caldecott expressed his thanks to the police who so diligently pursued the escapees and to the emergency services for their quick response time and skill in saving every one from the rubble. There were no deaths.
